I’m Caleb, welcome to my website. Currently I’m working on Frame Set. Reach out anytime - I’d love to talk.
Current Work
I recently founded Frame Set: a searchable collection of reference frames to help filmmakers create treatments, moodboards, and look-books. Before using Frame Set, directors would have to think a specific film project they watched recently: then find where to watch it and select an individual frame. Frame Set takes care of that entire process, while adding so much more.
I’ve always wanted to bring originality and clarity to commercial filmmaking…
My goal is to bring clarity and originality through my work at Frame Set - giving thousands of filmmakers more resources to help with creative pro-production, empowering them to create projects that are specific and unique to them. I believe finding unique references is a big part of that.
I started my career as a camera assistant, then moved to an assistant editing role. Soon after became an editor and finally head of post production - managing a great team.
Throughout my career I’ve had the chance to work with some of my best friends: We’ve made short films together, including my first short; “I Think I Lost You”. Worked on incredible ads for brands like Barings, Bridgestone, Seagate, and more. All while sharing some 2:00am crafty snacks and a few home cooked dinners.
My past work in production has brought many challenging moments, but working with so many great people and building life-long connections made it all worth it.
I feel fortunate to call two places home; Coupeville, WA where I grew up and Charlotte, NC where I live and work now. My hobbies include obsessively watching Seahawks games, smoking barbecue (mostly NC style pulled pork), watching movies, and firing some pizzas with my #ooni. I also host weekly dinners if you want to stop by.
